Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman holds the Honorary Chair in Psychology at the University of California Davis and is the director of its Center for Public Policy Research. It is widely believed that she was the one who starting the modern science-based study of children's witness memory as well as child victims as witnesses in legal contexts. Her publications are numerous She has also received a number of grants and is the recipient of numerous awards international and national levels. She has worked with many organisations and governments all over the world to conduct studies and policy issues pertaining to child people who are victims of the law. Additionally, she provides consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She has memberships with numerous professional organizations, like the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is a member of Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (Founding Member) International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She served as president of the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Family and Child Policy and Practice.
