Aurora

Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian song writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is a May 2015 release from Decca Records. It has been praised by the blogs and the press. Half the World Away from Oasis was released by the group Oasis was recorded for an ad campaign for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is the Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry shared a tweet that Perry promoted her song Runaway. Celebrate her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is finding a grand piano that was in the attic. The piano was fascinating to her what it could do. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes urged Aurora to pursue music, not for work or for a passion, but as an opportunity to grow. The singer began to write lyrics of her own. Her inspirations include famous authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as her love of Bjork's style. When her mother told her that the songs she composed could be used to not make her famous but instead to inspire people to see the importance of their work and influence in this world, she started singing them in public. She began playing the piano at age six and creating music when she was nine. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known to her family until she turned fourteen. Aurora had no idea of becoming a star. She just loves to write songs. She says that music is her preferred method to feel anything.
