Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her character Bo from the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay who is producer and director of drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother working and going to the rehearsals for her plays. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still in the midst of her childhood. She was in 1997 when she earned a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was able to move from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple was engaged in 2009, and then married in the civil ceremony on December. After she had converted to Judaism the couple were married again in a Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was born in May of 2013, and her son was called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13, 2016. Silk has played a range of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win a Gemini Award in 2009 for her performance. In 2009 she landed the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale. She announced the news to viewers on the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th that the series was returning in its production. The fourth season premiered on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN recognized Bo's performance along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched television couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is the result, and its prominence on social media has gained a significant online fan base.
